Southern Deviled Eggs photo

A nice slightly spicy deviled egg, great for a snack or an appetizer.  I make these every Thanksgiving

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon - black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons - cayenne pepper
  • 7 whole - eggs large
  • 1/4 cup - mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon - mustard
  • 1 teaspoon - salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - sweet pickle relsih

Directions

  1. Hard boil the eggs
  2. Halve the 7 eggs lengthwise and remove the yolks
  3. Place the yolks in a small bowl and mash them
  4. Stir in the mayonnaise, pickle relish, and mustard
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste
  6. Fill egg whites with the yolk mixture garnish with cayenne pepper
