Spinach sausage Farfalle Pasta photo

A easy to make pasta dish that has a lot of flavor and sausage!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup - chicken broth
  • 1 can - diced tomatos
  • 1 box - farfalle pasta
  • 2 tablespoons - garlic minced from jar
  • 3 tablespoons - olive oil
  • 3/4 cup - parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon - red pepper flakes
  • 1 bag - spinach
  • 1 package - turkey sausage
  • 1 whole - yellow onion diced

Directions

  • Cook pasta according to directions add the 1 cup of chicken broth to the water.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking liquid.

  • Sliced the turkey sausage.
  • Add the olive oil, sausage, and garlic to a cooking pan. Cook till the sausage is done.
  • Add the spinach slowly, adding the reserved liquid to the pan to allow the spinach to wilt
  • Pour in the can tomatoes and add the red pepper flackes
  • Add the drained pasta and the sauce to a large bowl and mix
  • Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.
